Rock N Roll meets 80’s vibe
Styled Shoot
.
This wonderfully styled Elopement photo shoot was put together with a very 80’s meets vintage meets quirky eclectic vibe. With Valentine’s day in mind we set up their sweetheart reception table with amazing flowers, desserts and quirky items. My personal favorite was the Cat chair I found that fit right in with something from a Molly Ringwald movie from the 80’s. I drew inspiration from “Pretty in Pink” and “Betsey’s Wedding”. The overall theme of this day was “Be yourself, and do it your way!”.

Courtney (bride) was styled head to toe by the amazing Lizzy of Lizzy Gator. We chose a white jacket ensemble with a very long skirt train. The derby hat and pink choker were her finishing touches as well as instead of a bouquet she carried a vintage parasol.
.
Blake (groom) was styled with a flair of Rock N Roll meets 80’s vibe. His naturally curly hair was topped off with an amazing hat with an eyeball accent. His shoes were pink and black striped and the bouquet of flowers was carried by him into the ceremony.

The Venue is called Lizzy Gator where their twisted (and very crooked) chapel was built from the ground up last summer and fall of 2020. This unique spot is made for alternative & badass couples that want something visually interesting. We had the reception table setup in their event venue right next door with their plethora of furniture items to style. I chose the deep patent black for him and the quirky Cat with glasses chair for her.

The table is styled with vintage fabrics and a pink knit texture. The decanter and glasses are a slightly modern shape with white wine for their dessert & wine reception! This twist on a Valentine’s meets 80’s vibe really inspired us all by the end of the afternoon event. The plates are Gray and White with vintage doily napkins tied with black ribbon. The fabrics underneath are hanging wall decorations to give it a bit of pop! The cookies are nestled on a pewter rabbit dish and ready for tasting!

We hope this inspires you to think outside the box AND use found items for your wedding day! Big or small, you can make it really *sweet*!
