Tracy and Lee
COUPLE: Tracy and Lee Garratt
WEDDING DATE: 5/09/18
WEDDING LOCATION: Brighton town hall
HOW AND WHERE DID YOU MEET: Lee messaged me first over facebook about a vintage all – dayer, that I was helping organise and our first date was in Brighton.
WEDDING THEME: 1950’s/ vintage just us.
THE WEDDING DAY:
Lee and I spent the night at the Lanes Hotel Brighton, in room 118. We went to bed very late, after drinking a little too much in the hotel bar. We met up with our photographer @lexflemingphoto at the pier. We then walked around whilst she took photo’s, stopping at the pub on the way for a drink, before walking down to the town hall to meet our families.
The ceremony was really relaxed and just right for us. We walked into our ceremony to ‘At Last’ by Etta James, and left to ‘Green onions‘ (Groom’s choice). Lee wore his favourite denim, and everyone wore comfortable clothes it was very informal. The whole day was calm and carefree just like Me and Lee.
We then walked across the road to have our wedding dinner in Bella Italia, our guests went home, I changed my shoes and we spent the evening in The Mesmerist.
We were up the next morning to catch a train to Gatwick for our honeymoon, which was spent at the High Rockabilly Weekender in Calafell, Tarragona Spain.
Four weeks later, we had our wedding party for all our friends to celebrate with us and I got to wear my dress again.

ANY AWESOME BUDGET SAVING IDEAS:
Do it yourself, research what you want, and make it your own. I liked using Pinterest and then going to eBay, for the best deals.
We also only had a handful (20), of paper invites printed to post to our friends, who aren’t on social media, and we created a facebook event to keep everyone else informed.
You don’t need to buy anything that will go in the bin the next day.
ANY TIPS ON GIFT IDEAS: We asked for euros for the wedding day, and we asked the after party guests for money, which we did in form of a poem in our invites, but most of our guests know us well enough and we got a few skull items.
At the wedding day, we gave engraved shot glasses to the men, and small personalised candles to the women.
At the party we gave each of our guests a KrispyKreme doughnut, which made up our cake.
TIPS FOR FUTURE BADASS BRIDES: It’s your day do whatever you want, wear whatever you want, you don’t have to please anyone else.
